Israel 1978 – Bedouin

This film from 1978 shows the visit of tourists to Bedouin in Israel. We see shots of tents and poor dwellings made of corrugated iron, only partly made of solid material.

We do not know the exact location, but the Bedouin of Israel live in a reserve-like area in the northeast of the Negev – the desert, which covers 60 percent of the territory of Israel with 12,000 square kilometers.

Den genauen Ort kennen wir nicht, doch leben die Beduinen Israels in einem reservat-ähnlichen Gebiet im Nordosten des Negev – der Wüste, die mit 12.000 Quadratkilometern etwa 60 Prozent des Staatsgebietes von Israel bedeckt.
